Repulse Bay

Located in the southern district of Hong Kong, Repulse Bay is the most beautiful bay in Hong Kong. It is the regarded as the first bay in the world and awarded a reputation of ‘Oriental Hawaii’.
With a crescent shape, Repulse Bay is surrounded by mountains and seas. Repulse Bay has fine sand, long beach, slow slope and clean water. The water temperature in the whole year is controlled between 16 °C and 27°C(. It is the most representative bay and beach. In summer, a sea of people frolic on the beach and the various types of swimsuit composed a colorful picture of the beach. In winter, you can also see the young men and women on the beach with their swimsuit. The Repulse Bay area is one of the most expensive housing areas in Hong Kong. It is a must see when traveling in Hong Kong.
Kwun Yam Shrine
On the southeastern, there stands a Chinese classical building, Kwun Yam Shrine. The roof is decorated with a hovering and dragon, and there is a garden leading to the beach. It is the place of the Hong Kong Life Saving Society. In front of the gate, there stand two statues of goddess, the Queen of Heaven and Kwan-yin.
The Repulse Bay
Occupied the site of the former Repulse Bay Hotel, The Repulse Bay is a residential apartment nowadays. Repulse Bay Hotel was a very elegant, beautiful European building built during the colonial era and rebuilt as a shopping mall in 1982. In 1990s, the hotel was rebuilt into a residential apartment, that is the Repulse Bay today. Advanced stores and balcony restaurant can be found here. A number of stores and restaurants still remain the original appearance, which reveals a thick colonial color.
129 Repulse Bay
129 Repulse Bay is a building in Hong Kong. As it is located at No. 129 of Repulse Bay street, hence its name. 129 Repulse Bay looks like a flowering white lily. It has 30 storeys with 184 units. All the units can appreciate the beautiful seascape here.
