Guiyang Transportation
As a transportation hub with a network of roads, Guiyang is very easy to get in for there are many optional tools such as by air, by train and by bus. The Guiyang Longdonngbao International Airport serves flights to more than 50 Chinese cities and foreign cities like Bangkok, Seoul and Phuket. Taxi and public bus are available to get around the Guiyang.

Get around
Taxis can be catched everywhere in Guiyang city. Generally, taxi fare will be paid by meter. The flag fall is CNY8-10 yuan for the first 3 km and CNY1.4-1.6 for every succeeding kilometer. Usually, short trips within the city should cost CNY10. Be noticed that taxis charge extra late at night (CNY12 for flag fall). Taxis heading into or out of the city center may charge with highway fare.

Guiyang Airport, the only airport in Guizhou Province, is located about 11 kilometers from the city center. Currently it has had opened 81 air route to nearly 50 major cities of China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Nanning, Qingdao, Sanya, Shantou, Shenyang, Wenzhou, Wuhan, Xiamen, Xi'an, Yibin, Zhangjiajie, Zhanjiang, and Zhengzhou, and 4 international flight to Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea and Thailand.
Shuttle buses are accessible once the arrival of any flights. From the city center to the airport, shuttle bus runs every hour from 8am to 8pm, and cost CNY10.

Get around
Guiyang has a well developed bus system. All bus fares cost CNY1 and operate from 6:00 am to 21:30 pm. Bus No. 1 and 2 can take people between the famous Qianling Park and the Railway Station. Some small local buses routes connect towns and distant districts in Guiyang for CNY 2 per person. Bus No. 15 is available to transfer people to the Jaixiu Tower and Guizhou Provincial Museum.
Long-Distance Bus
The Long-distance Bus Station manages buses to and from cities outside Guizhou Province. There are bus to Kunming, Shaotong, Nanning, Baise, Guangzhou and Dongwan. For cities inside Guizhou Province, there are bus to Tongren, Anshun, Duyun, Zunyi, Zhenyuan, Rongjiang, Liping, and so on. From Guiyang to Anshun, there's a bus leaving every 15 minutes, and a bus leaves for Zunyi every 30 minutes. Long-distance bus station is located at No.318 Zunyi Road. Tel: 0851-5793381.
Get in
As the main transportation hub in southwestern China, Guiyang Railway Station at Zunyi Road, Nanming District, Guiyang City serves trains to most cities in China such as Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Chongqing, Guangzhou, Kunming, Ningbo, Zhengzhou, Xi’an and Nanchang owing to the Guiyang-Hunan, Chongqing-Guiyang, Guiyang-Kunming and Guilin-Guiyang railways all start from Guiyang. There are also trains between Guiyang and Liupanshui, Anshun, Zunyi, Kaili and Duyun. Tickets to Zunyi (hard seat only) cost CNY17 for the three and a half hour trip.
By Motorcycle
Motorcycle taxi services are also available in Guiyang. Most motorcycles concentrate along large intersections or areas with lots of bars or restaurants. Be sure to negotiate a price before getting on the motorcycle (CNY5-10).
