Sanqing Mountain

 Located in the junction of Shangrao City and Yushan County, Sanqing Mountain, the first World National Heritage in Jiangxi Province, is famous for Yujing Mountain, Yuxu Mountain and Yuhuan Mountain. Covering an area of 229 square kilometers, Sanqing Mountain is composed of ten big scenic spots, of which there are four scenic areas are particularly well-known. There are more than 200 days having fog in Sanqing Mountain, which makes the innumerable mountains and valleys changeable and flash.

Nanqingyuan Scenic Area

Nanqingyuan Scenic Area, a key scenic area in Sanqing Mountain and the Granite Peak Forest landform, is the World Natural Heritage and is the most wonderful natural landscape in Sanqing Mountain. Located in the southern part of Sanqing Mountain Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province, Nanqingyuan Scenic Area with an average elevation of 1577 is one of the center views of Sanqing Mountain and is the most wonderful natural landscape in Sanqing Mountain, showing the geological evolution of the formation of granite peak forest landform about 14 billions years. The Oriental Goddess, Python Mountain and Azalea are the three wonderful scenes.

Sanqing Palace

Sanqing Palace, as a landmark building for Taoism in Sanqing Mountain, is an open-air museum about the ancient Taoist buildings and is sceneries of humanities. Located on the Jiulong Mountain in the north of Sanqing Mountain in Jiangxi Province, Sanqing Palace is about 1533 meters above the sea level, which is the symbolic building for Taoism in Sanqing Mountain. Having a long history of 1600 years, Sanqing Palace has more than 230 ancient buildings and cultural relics about temples, palaces, squares, fountains, pools, bridges, tombs, tables, towers and so on, which plays an important role in studying the ancient Taoist architectural building design. Sanqing Palace Memorial Archway is a representative attraction and its layout is very unique.

Yujing Peak Scenic Area

Yujing Peak Scenic Area is the highest and the most central area, 1810.9 meters above the sea level. Besides, it has the largest elevation drop in Sanqing Mountain. The vertical Feixian Valley about several kilometers high, the sea of clouds, fog, and sunrise forms the fairyland scenery. Yujing Peak is majestic, towering, which is really a great spectacle.

Sunrise and Sunset

Sanqing Mountain is high and risky with a lot of clouds. The scenery of sunrise is of great momentum. Before dawn, the sky is bright gradually. A gold lace appears on the swirling clouds sea. Then, a red dot pops out of the sea cloud, forms a curved disc and rises into a semicircle. Instant, a red sun runs out of the waves. At the time, the whole mountains immerses in a beautiful color. Glowing rays shine in all directions in the sky, which is like a huge kaleidoscope and makes people see things in a blur. The sunset is also very spectacular when the mountain ranges covered with golden sunshine.

At the Sunshine Coast Scenic Spot, visitors can best appreciate the sunrise and sunset. Time for the sunrise in spring is between 5:30 and 6:00, in summer 4:40 to 5:20, in autumn 4:50 to 5:20 and in winter 5:30 to 7:00.
