Nanqingyuan Scenic Area

 Located in the southern part of Sanqing Mountain Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province, Nanqingyuan Scenic Area with an average elevation of 1577 is one of the center views of Sanqing Mountain and is the most wonderful natural landscape in Sanqing Mountain, showing the geological evolution of the formation of granite peak forest landform about 14 billions years.

Oriental Goddess

Located in the northeast of cableway station 500 meters above the cableway, Oriental Goddess, formerly named Goddess Peak, is a symbolic landscape in Sanqing Mountain. With an altitude of 1,180 meters and 86 meters high, Oriental Goddess is like a beautiful girl with long hair. After hundreds of millions of years, the Goddess has been sitting silently and peacefully, watching the numerous living beings. It is said the Goddess is the twenty-third daughter of Queen Mother of the West. The people believe that she is the incarnation of spring so it is named Oriental Goddess.

Python Mountain

Located in the north of the South Mountain Park, Python Mountain is a symbolic landmark spot. More than 1200 meters above the sea level and the relative height of 128 meters, Python Mountain is formed by weathering and gravitational collapse with a plurality of transverse cracks. Suffering the wind and rain for millions of years, Python Mountain, the top flat, neck slightly small and the thinnest point about 7 meters, is still standing, whose shape is very abrupt and looks like a gigantic python breaking hill out.

Azalea

The azaleas in Sanqing Mountain bloom in every April or May which is a busy tourism season. All over the mountains and plains are rhododendrons, forming a natural park. The rhododendron forests from Oriental Goddess to Cloud Sea are rare. The large one can is up to several meters high and more than 40 centimeters in diameter. The age of some trees is up to 1,700 years. In the blooming season, the flowers are like colorful clouds fragrant and aromatic. The change of the flower color attracts people most. At the beginning, the color is red. As time goes by, the color turns pink, and purple. Finally, it gets white, drifting profusely and disorderly.
