Changchun Transportation

It is pretty easy to travel from one place to another, for there are many airlines and trains in Changchun. You can also take long-distance bus or light rail to get in this city. The traffic inside in the city area is also easily got and convenient.
 

 Get around
 

No.1 Automobile Factory of China is in Changchun, so taxi service and car-rent service are convenient here. There are many “Jetta” and "Audi" taxies in the streets; The flag fall is CNY5 for 2.5 kilometers and then CNY1.4 per kilometer.

 Get in

There are many flight routes to major cities in China, such as, to Beijing, Dalian, Guangzhou, Nanjing, Shanghai,Shenzhen, etc. Besides, there are many international flight routes, such as, to Hong Kong, Seoul of Korea, and Fuladiwosituoke of Russia. There are also charter flight routes: to Sentai of Japan and to new Siberia

Changchun Longjia International Airport is in the northeast part of Changchun city- 21 kilometers away from downtown, 62 kilometers from Jinlin city.

Airport Transportation

Buses run hourly to the airport from Minhang Hotel, (taking No.254, 361 and 269 city bus to get to this hotel) from 6 a.m. daily with the journey taking about forty minutes at a cost of CNY20. A taxi ride from the city proper to the airport costs around 100 RMB.

 Long-distance bus

The development of Changchun's expressways is relatively fast. Changchun, as the expressways starting point, links to Siping, Jilin and Yingchengzi respectively in Jilin province. And Changchun to Siping expressway connects with Liaoning highway, therefore cars can reach Shenyang, Dalian and Beijing directly. In addition two national roads, 102 and 302 pass through Changchun, which makes transportation here very convenient. 

Five long-distance bus stations are located in the City with the routes radiating out all over Jilin Province and also reach many cities outside Jilin Province such as Hangzhou, Taiyuan, Jiamusi, Hohhot, etc.

 City Bus

There are more than 100 bus routes in Changchun. They can have radiation to every corner of the city. The ticket costs CNY1-2 and most of the city buses have heating in winter. In addition, tens of bus routes help taking visitors to all the scenic attractions in the city.

 Get in

Changchun Railway Station is in the north part of urban district, in the north end of People Road and it is the third largest railway station in northeast China. The Beijing-Harbin track pass through the station and trains on that route always stop here. There are regular trains to Harbin, Jilin, Shenyang, Beijing,Xi’an and Shanghai.
  

 Light rail transit

Changchun light rail and subway system is scheduled to have 7 lines, with a total length of 256.9 kilometers. So far Line3, which are light rail transit on-ground rail, have put into use.
