Located in the north-east New Territories, the picturesque Sai Kung Peninsula is often referred to as the ��leisure garden of Hong Kong��. It is a must see when traveling in Hong Kong.
Covering an area of about 12,680 hectares, Sai Kung Peninsula is a natural recreational area. Most part of Sai Kung Peninsula is undeveloped in the urbanization and belongs to the country park. Sai Kung Peninsula is suitable for water sports such as kayaking, diving and swimming. In addition, Sai Kung Peninsula is a hot place for hiking. Sai Kung’s Hoi Ha Wan is one of the most easily accessed coral dive sites in Hong Kong. It is suitable for diver training and for newly-certified divers. Once a small undeveloped fishing village, Sai Kung Peninsula now has became a modern town with buildings, shops, piers, public swimming pools and other facilities.

Wong Shek
Located in northern, Wong Shek is a famous attraction in Sai Kung Peninsula. There are many places with picnic facilities and people can enjoy the beautiful sea view while barbecue. In order to protect the natural environment of Wong Shek, the Government controls the number of vehicle entering the area. Only the public vehicles and the permitted can enter into.
Sai Kung Country Park
Covering an area of about 7,500 hectares, Sai Kung Country Park is divided into two parts by a road, including the Sai Kung East Country Park and the Sai Kung West Country Park. The East Sai Kung Park has mountainous terrain and undulating hills, four beaches in Tai Long Wan including Sai Wan, Ham Tin Wan, Tai Wan and Tung Wan and a sharp peak. The West Sai Kung Park is featured for Chuk Wan, Tai Mong Tsai, Pak Tam Chung, Yung Shue O and Lai Chi Chong. The idyllic coastline with pristine beaches, hills and peaks in the Sai Kung West Country Park attracted many visitors.
