The Zoo is 7km away from the center of Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, with a total area of 2.40 million square meters. Xiu Lake is in the heart of it with very beautiful scenery. It is designed by Japanese company. And three parts are divided here: part one is the place for breeding and viewing; part two is for sightseeing and walking; part three is a recreation center. It is also a fecundity center for breeding and raising wild animals and red-crowned cranes as well.

What animals you are going to see here

At present, the entire park at more than 130 kinds of animals, including a national animal protection and foreign rare animals, such as the Northeast tigers, pandas, Cougar, Chile turkey, Jin Qianbao, seals, red-crowned crane, golden monkey, deer lips, Japan presented The Doupeng, such as baboons. Three Parts

    Late summer, middle autumn and late winter are all good times to travel in Shenyang. Winter is an especially good time to visit because the Ice Snow Festival is held then and is very entertaining and enjoyable.

    The lowest temperature of Shenyang is -28.5 C and the highest is 36.1 C. July is the hottest month of the year with an average temperature of 24.7 C. It is much cooler than almost all the cities in southern China.

    The seasons of spring and summer are decorated with green plants; autumn is short but is so sunny nearly everyday; winter is like a pretty girl with long and beautiful white skirt.
