Guilin Merryland World is invested by Mr Ma Zhi lin. This project was planned and prepared in 1992 and put into action in 1997. It is situated in Xing'an of Guilin, covering the area beyond thousand mu. With its large scale and well planning, it is regarded as the biggest traveling sites in south China.

The whole project is divided into periods. The Merryland World includes the fantastic Merryland Theme Park, the luxurious Holiday Hotel, the comfortable Forest Resort Village and the wonderful golf club.

Merryland Theme Park

The theme park covers 90 hectares. There are five sections of this theme park, merry town, American Wild West, Dream World, Pirate Village, South Pacific area and Forest area. All the dress, food, sights, shows and entertainment facilities in each section are themed. It's like entering a time tunnel.

Holiday Hotel

Merryland has a 5-star holiday hotel adjoining the theme park and gold course. The ceiling of the hotels hall is made of wood and decorated in the style of Guangxi minorities. The whole ceiling is made up of six woody shelves with typical ancient architecture and traditional craftsmanship. A Tongs bell tower and a copper drum is at the center of the hall.

The hotel provides 368 guest rooms, designed by famous designers. The guestrooms are a combination of Chinese poetic sentiment and western romanticism.

Forest Resort Village

• Wooden cabins
  Merryland has 30 wooden cabins built by the mountains. Each cabin has two floors, the first floor is double room and the second floor is suitable for couples. The cabins have been designed by a European designer in styles from Europe and Japan. High quality timbers finishes are used and all cabins have the same facilities as the hotel while you enjoy the tranquil and serene environment.
• Campsites
  Merryland offers campsites in the forest village. 160 campsites are available with 5 big campfires offering you a great place for barbecues and fireworks. We can provide you with tent, sleeping bags and sunshade. You will experience all the joys of the open air environment with the comforts of a resort.

Guilin Merryland golf club

Guilin Merryland golf club is the largest golf club in Guangxi Province. And it is also the only one in China with 18 holes foothill course of international standard. Following American USGA regulation, the Merryland golf course has a golf path of 7073 yard and 72 pars. It is specially designed by American designer, Golden Louise. It is multi-functional golf course including sports, entertainment, traveling and business meeting. While playing, you can also enjoy the special scenery of world best.

  Generally speaking, the best time to visit Guilin is between April and October, when Guilin exhibits her immortal beauty.

  Guilin has a subtropical monsoon climate. The most important thing to know about Guilin (and Yangshuo) weather is that it can get very hot, humid, and it rains a lot! The rainy season begins from April in Guilin City, so please carry rain gear with you. The average temperature for the year is 19.3 centigrade with a July average temperature of 28.3 degrees. The average rainfall for the year is 192.6 cm per month.
